[cancelled] Beyond depression: BA as a transdiagnostic psychotherapeutic intervention

Initially developed as an evidence-based psychotherapeutic intervention for depression, behavioral activation (BA) consists of strategies to help individuals engage in enjoyable activities, healthy routines, problem solving, and behaviors that are guided by their values. BA has gained rigorous empirical support as an independent treatment and as an element of other EBPIs such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. Appropriate for masters-level clinicians, this program will use didactic and case demonstration to showcase how BA can target diverse presenting problems across different diagnoses given its transdiagnostic nature. At the end of the program, there is dedicated time to address audience questions.

Association of Social Work Boards
Rogers Behavioral Health, provider number 1101, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB), www.aswb.org, through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory board have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Rogers Behavioral Health maintains responsibility for this course. Approval period: October 18, 2023 – October 18, 2026.
